Alaska 2026 - Off To An Epic Start
From the very start, 2026 has been delivering exactly what every skier hopes for in Alaska—consistent cold temperatures, a stable snowpack, and storm cycles that kept refreshing the mountains with lots of flyable days. The result has been that combination: deep, light powder paired with reliable conditionsn and bluebird skies that let us explore our Chugach terrain to its fullest.

Cold Snow, Endless Lines
This season has been defined by awesome skiing and unseasonably cold temps. Our zones around Palmer have been stacking up with quality snow, preserving conditions run after run. Even days after a storm, we’re finding cold snow on almost all aspects with untouched lines and great skiing.

Terrain That Keeps Delivering
With great conditions, we’ve been able to get into up some awesome terrain. Big faces, spines, open ramps, steep tubes and long glacier runs have all been in the mix. Whether it’s steep and technical or wide-open and fast, the variety has been exceptional.
An Incredible Group of Guests
As always, what truly makes the season special is the people. We’ve had an amazing lineup of groups—strong skiers, great attitudes, and a shared appreciation for being out in the mountains. From first-time heli-skiers checking off a bucket list dream to returning veterans chasing their best runs yet, the energy has been high every single day.
Flying Days to Remember
The weather windows have lined up beautifully, giving us plenty of flyable days and unforgettable views of the Alaska, Chugach and Talkeetna ranges. There’s nothing quite like lifting off in the morning knowing you’ve got a full day of powder ahead.
Looking Ahead
If the first part of the season is any indication, we’re in for more incredible skiing in the weeks to come. The snowpack is strong, the terrain is primed, and the stoke is high.
To everyone who’s joined us so far—thank you for being part of it. And for those still to come, Alaska is ready.
